David McGarry serves as the Vice President of Veterans Affairs for Aliya Veterans addiction and mental health treatment center in Las Vegas, Nevada. With over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, David has held various roles, ranging from direct patient care to outreach-focused positions, showcasing his versatility and dedication to helping others.
A graduate of Penn State University, David holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is certified in key areas such as crisis intervention and motivational interviewing (MI). Throughout his career, he has worked with diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, unhoused individuals, and veterans. In 2015, David transitioned into outreach roles, driven by a desire to make a broader impact by connecting more people with effective substance use and mental health treatment. His passion for this work stems from a deep commitment to helping others, and he finds immense fulfillment in being part of someone’s recovery journey.
In his role as VP of Veterans Affairs, David works closely with our team of dedicated professionals to ensure that each veteran receives personalized and evidence-based care that addresses their unique needs. Through his leadership and dedication, David has helped hundreds of veterans find lasting recovery and improve their overall quality of life.
