At Aliya Veterans, we provide specialized, compassionate care for veterans and first responders facing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our treatment model is built on clinical excellence, trauma-informed practices, and a deep respect for the sacrifices made by those who have served. We understand that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all—so we offer a full continuum of care to meet each client wherever they are in their recovery journey.
Treating The Link Between PTSD and Addiction
Veterans and first responders are regularly exposed to high-stress environments, life-threatening situations, and traumatic events. Over time, these experiences can lead to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. In many cases, alcohol or drug use becomes a way to cope with flashbacks, emotional pain, and hypervigilance.
At Aliya Veterans, we treat PTSD and addiction together, recognizing that one often fuels the other. By addressing both conditions simultaneously through dual diagnosis treatment, we help clients find lasting stability—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Our Levels of Care
We offer a structured, step-down model of care that supports clients at every phase of recovery—from medical detox to long-term reintegration.
Medical Detox Program
The first step for many clients is medical detox, a supervised process designed to safely manage the symptoms of withdrawal from alcohol or other drugs. At Aliya, detox is monitored 24/7 by experienced medical professionals who ensure comfort, safety, and emotional support during this critical phase. Detox lays the foundation for deeper therapeutic work and is often the gateway into residential or outpatient treatment.
Residential Treatment Program
Following detox, clients may transition into our residential treatment program—a structured, immersive environment where healing can begin in earnest. This level of care includes daily individual and group therapy, trauma-focused interventions, and holistic services. Residential care gives veterans and first responders the time, space, and clinical support needed to stabilize, gain insight, and begin building a foundation for recovery.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive, structured care without 24-hour supervision. Clients attend full-day treatment sessions while living off-site in supportive housing or at home. PHP is ideal for those stepping down from residential care or for clients who need a high level of clinical support while beginning to reintegrate into everyday life.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers flexible scheduling while continuing to provide therapeutic structure. Clients typically attend treatment three to five days per week for several hours a day. IOP focuses on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, coping skills, and reintegration planning—all within a trauma-informed framework designed for veterans and first responders.
Outpatient Program (OP)
Our Outpatient Program (OP) is a step down from IOP and offers continued clinical support on a part-time basis. Clients may attend one to three therapy sessions per week, focusing on goal-setting, relationship building, and maintaining long-term recovery. OP is ideal for individuals who are transitioning back to work, school, or family life but still benefit from structured accountability and ongoing support.
Aftercare
Aftercare planning is an essential part of long-term recovery. At Aliya Veterans, we work with each client to create a personalized aftercare plan that includes continued therapy, peer support groups, alumni engagement, and community resources. We recognize that recovery is a lifelong process, and we’re committed to staying connected even after formal treatment ends.
Transitional Housing
For clients who need a supportive living environment during or after outpatient care, we offer transitional housing options. These residences provide safety, structure, and peer support as clients continue their recovery journey. Transitional housing is especially valuable for veterans and first responders adjusting to civilian life while maintaining sobriety and emotional stability.
